Mupen64 is a multi-system Nintendo 64 emulator. This application doesn’t include any games; it just plays them. You get the games off the Internet.
Mupen64 has managed to improve its speed thanks to changes in the application engine. Other improvements include:
- The configuration script detects GTK1.2 and GTK2 and you choose what you want
- The interface and plugins are now GTK2
- The language you choose is saved and remembered when you close the program
- The multi-user version has been improved
- Software for plugin configuration changes is operative
- Core speed limitation…and much more
