NASA World Wind is a program designed by NASA that lets you move around the world from your computer with a fabulous array of details. The images are taken by NASA satellites and the data from topographic radar.
This program offers many possibilities such as: seeing the earth in 3D and real colour, you can rotate the images, the zoom system lets you enlarge and shrink them, you can superimpose borders, access all the world’s flags, see population density and all points of interest. This program gives you the world at your fingertips.
