A popular instant messaging and communication center client
Messenger is a pioneer in the area of Instant Messaging. The client is what many IM user know and fortunately, the software has evolved over the years. What has not changed is the free character of the software.
One thing that made Messenger popular is the large array of emoticons. The ability to download more free emoticons is available. Besides the emoticons, Messenger was one of the first to introduce small animations and winks that can still be downloaded for free. The IM did a great job keeping what works and integrating new components for audio and video conversations. Overall, you will be please with the new IM.
Fully integrated with other Microsoft based products
Just like what Google Talk did, many Windows products can be accessed from Messenger. In fact, with a Microsoft credentials, you can open all associated products. Your Outlook mails can even be checked while you chat with your friends. Although video and audio calls can be made from the interface of Messenger still for free, the quality of transmission is still lagging. The other pioneer in IM that is Yahoo! Messenger is hardly at the same efficiency level as Messenger.
When you think about downloading an IM, Messenger is usually among one of the first names that come to mind. Its integration with other Microsoft products is a blessing for those who use Microsoft heavily. Despite its shortcomings, we think that this IM is still one of the best and most reliable in its field. Meanwhile, the revamping of its interface is an indication of its turn toward modernity.
Messenger is still a wonderful and fast IM that many people can use.
