Paint.NET is an application for Windows that lets you treat images. One of its features is its ease in handling.
This program is very similar to Adobe. It has a layer system, advanced filters, toolbars and keeps a record of what you’re doing, so you can go back with a simple click and you can download plugins to add more filters. These filters let you apply effects like softening, relief, red eye reduction, noise, etc.
They’re based on Microsoft’s .NET which means that they must be installed, but you can also download the complete Paint.NET package which has them.
