Total Commander is a utility designed to help with system file management.
When we enter an operating system and want to start working with the files that we have stored on our hard drive, the first thing we do is to open the file explorer, search for the folder and open the file in question.
Some of the notable characteristics of Total Commander include:
- Division of the interface into two windows to increase the quantity of information about the files and folders.
- Search tool that supports different types of scans.
- Synchronise directories.
- Support for proxy and FXP servers.
- An FTP client to be able to work via the protocol between online servers and our computer.
- Management of compressed files of different formats.
- Support for different attachments to improve functionality.
- An easy-to-use and dynamic way to work with files.
With Total Commander we notably improve access to local files, replacing the usual programme that performs this task in Windows.
