Gaim is an application designed to work as an instant messaging client.
This tool works with most messenger networks like: AIM, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, Google Talk, Groupwise, IRC, MSN, MyspaceIM, QQ, SILC, SIMPLE, Sametime, XMPP, Yahoo! and Zephyr.
With Gaim you can communicate with all of your contacts by Chat, file transfer, and conferences.
The interface is similar to that of the well known MSN Messenger, since it has a window for contacts, and another one for each of your conversations.
Plus, you can transfer files to users of other instant messenger clients like MSN, and Yahoo! Messenger.
This little client has all of the power of the larger ones, but it uses much less of the microprocessor's resources and memory, which makes it ideal for use with any personal computer.
